How does self-storage work in Top Box?
Self-storage is a storage method for individuals and companies based on very clear and simple rules. It is a type of warehouse building that is divided into many separately lockable boxes of various sizes (from 1-meter lockers to 50-meter rooms). You rent exactly the space you need, for a specific number of days (from 7 upwards) or for an indefinite period of time and use it as you want and when you want. We provide you with the support of self-storage experts at every stage of our cooperation, safe storage of your property and additional services, thanks to which you will optimize the process of packing, transporting and storing things.

What size of boxes can I use?
Each Top Box self-storage warehouse has different storage boxes in sizes from 0.5 m2 to 50 m2 with a ceiling height of 2.6 to 3.40 m.
On request, we provide you with larger storage areas: 50+ m².

What’s boxes’ hight?
The boxes on the ground floor are 3.35 m hight, and those on the first to fourth floors – 2.7 m.

Is my property insured?
Your property that you store in the Top Box warehouses must be insured for your personal protection.
You can provide us with written evidence of your insurance. Or you can also add insurance to your contract with Top Box. This contract will run for the entire box rental period. The payment for the insurance is paid monthly together with the payment of the storage box rental.

What things are not allowed to be stored?
- In particular, it is expressly forbidden to store the following goods:
- All kinds of living beings such as animals, fish, insects, birds;
- Any kind of plants;
- Highly flammable and easily combustible substances and objects, especially those with a tendency to self-ignition, including LPG, petrol, diesel fuel, heating oil, kerosene, benzene, fuel alcohol or methyl alcohol, turpentine, white spirit, acetone, acetylene, aerosol cans including room sprays, hair sprays, paints, varnishes and car windshield defrosters, hydrogen, acetylene;
- Highly flammable and easily combustible substances and objects, especially those with a tendency to self-ignition, including LPG, petrol, diesel fuel, heating oil, kerosene, benzene, fuel alcohol or methyl alcohol, turpentine, white spirit, acetone, acetylene, aerosol cans including room sprays, hair sprays, paints, varnishes and car windshield defrosters, hydrogen, acetylene;
- Radioactive substances;
- Toxic substances, in particular chemicals, methyl alcohol, stain removers, pesticides, herbicides, artificial fertilizers, cleaning agents, paint thinners, wood preservatives, paint removers;
- Corrosive substances, in particular acids, alkalis, drain cleaners, decalcifying agents, caustic soda, oven and toilet cleaners;
- All kinds of weapons, ammunition, all kinds of warfare agents;
- All kinds of garbage and waste materials, including wrecked cars and motorcycles and parts thereof that are no longer usable or recoverable;
- Perishable substances or objects as well as items or goods that can be attacked by vermin;
- Valuables, in particular cash, precious metals and precious stones and articles of jewellery made therefrom, fur goods, works of art, collectibles and irreplaceable objects and securities of all kinds;
- Illegal substances, especially narcotic substances / drugs;
- Goods resulting from crime, in particular smuggled or stolen items;
- Asbestos and any material containing asbestos;
- Oxidizing substances and preparations such as peroxides, chlorates, nitric and perchloric acids;
- Irritants of all kinds, in particular eye, nose and throat irritants;
- Environmentally harmful substances and preparations, in particular CFC, PCB and PCT;
- Substances harmful to health, carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction;
- Heavy metals, in particular mercury in thermometers, cadmium and zinc in batteries, lead and copper;
- Sensitizing substances

How are my things stored?
We provide you with clean, dry and ventilated boxes, in which we maintain a constant temperature and an appropriate level of humidity, suitable for safe storage of things.

Do you have boxes with direct access?
Of course. There are so-called direct access boxes. You enter them directly from the outside (and more precisely from the parking area), and not from the corridor located in the building, as standard boxes. Can I work in a box?
The main purpose of the boxes is to store things, but there is no problem with doing minor work in the box, such as packing orders for your customers. However, please remember that you cannot stay in the boxes permanently and cannot register them as a place of business.
ACCESS AND SECURITY

When can I access my box?
Access to a rented box is unlimited. You can use it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Remember that access to the box is not equal to the working hours of our office! You can check them out below.

Access and office hours
The Top Box administration is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 19:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00. During this time, our consultants are at your disposal. They will be happy to answer all your questions, advise you on matters related to storage in the Top Box and host you in our office. How are my items in the Top Box secured?
We provide you with a double protection system. When signing the contract, you receive a unique PIN code, with which you unlock the entrance to the Top Box area, the building and the floor where your box is located each time you visit us. The box itself is closed with the most modern electronic lock. You can open it from the level of our company application that you download to your smartphone. Thanks to such security measures, we have 100% eliminated the risk that an unwanted person will get into your box as a result of a lost or stolen key. In addition, you need to know that your box is a secluded room that only you and the people to whom you reveal your PIN have access to. No one else, not even Top Box employees, can get into the box without your consent and knowledge.

Is there monitoring in the facility?
Of course! We are using a modern system of high-quality CCTV technology. In addition, each box is equipped with an alarm system that will send you a push message when your box is open. Even when you just forget to enter it. In this way, we provide you with 24/7 security.

What is the access code?
It is your individual, unique PIN code with which you will unlock access to the entire area of the Top Box, as well as open the main building and the entrance to the floor where your box is located. The access code will be given to you at the time of signing the rental agreement.

How to change the access code?
If for any reason you need to change your access code to the Box (because, for example, you suspect that it has fallen into the wrong hands), immediately let us know about it in the most convenient way: call 800 800 007, write an e-mail modlinska@topbox.com.pl or fill out the contact form so that we can contact you ourselves.

Passing the code on to third parties
You can decide yourself which of your relatives, friends and acquaintances have access to your storage box. However, remember that you do it at your own risk. Top Box does not bear any consequences resulting from the actions of persons to whom you provide your authorization data.

Who has access to the space I rent?
Your box is a secluded room that only you can access. No one else, not even Top Box employees, will get to it without your consent and knowledge during the term of the contract. The exception is when you reveal your unique PIN code to someone else and give access to your box
RESERVATION AND PAYING

How do I reserve a storage space?
There are four options to reserve your preferred storage space:
- Online: Choose a suitable storage box and fill in the request form so that prices and discounts are still valid at the time of rental. Our staff will then reserve the desired box for you.
- By email: just send us a message with your kontakt information, a box size and starting rental date – modlinska@topbox.com.pl
- By phone: Call us on our free hotline 800 800 007 and our staff will reserve your storage compartment for you.
- On-site: Visit us on Tarasowa 1, 03-183
Reservation is 100% free and without obligation. It allows you to book a locker for up to 3 days (counted from the date of booking) with a guarantee that the price will remain unchanged and that the discounts applicable at the time of booking will be maintained.

How much does it cost to rent a box?
We have a dynamic prices system in the Top Box. This means that a price can change based on the demand and availability of boxes of the same size. You can always find the current prices on our website. You can contact our consultant directly and ask for the applicable price list. If you are interested in a specific price offer, you can set up a 3-day, no-obligation booking with the price-constant option. Once the contract is signed, the guarantee will be extended to a maximum of 12 months.

Do you charge a deposit?
Yes. The deposit must be paid when making the first payment for the use of the box. The amount of the deposit is the equivalent of your price for 1 month of rental. We return the deposit to you at the end of the term of our contract.

What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay for renting a box and other services available in Top Box in a way convenient for you. We accept payments in cash, by card, online transfer or bank direct debit.

How is the contract signed?
You can sign the contract stationary during your visit to our company. In addition to providing us with basic data, it will be necessary to present an ID card (if you are a private person) and provide a tax identification number with authorization to sign contracts issued by the company for which you want to sign the contract (if you are a business client). You can also sign the contract electronically when booking online.

What is the minimum rental period for a Top Box?
The minimum rental period for a box with us is only 7 days! We don’t want to force you into long-term contracts and pay for space if you don’t need it at all. Of course, you can rent a box for much longer. Specify a specific number of days when signing the contract or choose an indefinite rental with a monthly premium. Full freedom.

What is the notice period in the Top Box?
In the case of agreement for an indefinite period, you only have a 3-week notice period. We understand that your plans may change and that is why we guarantee you such flexibility.

Will I be able to change the box during the term of the contract?
Yes. You may find that you need much more (or less) space than you originally planned. For example, your online store will grow at an unexpected pace or when you move out you decide to get rid of more things. Please let us know if such a situation arises and we will provide you with the optimal storage space.

Can I see the boxes before signing the lease agreement?
Of course. Nobody wants to buy a pig in a poke. We will always be happy to welcome you to our office (we are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 19:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00). How to unload a car?
In Top Box, we have a convenient parking lot and a spacious loading and unloading area. So you can come to us by a delivery truck or direct a transport company here and unload or load your things comfortably and stress-free. We have at your disposal vertical, platform and pallet carts, which you can use free of charge and without restrictions.

Will I get the necessary materials for packing and moving?
At Top Box you get everything you need to equip your storage box, as well as safely transport and store your belongings. These include high-quality cardboard boxes, boxes, foils, adhesive tapes, gloves. You do not know what and how much you will need to pack and store your own things? Our specialists will of course help you and tell you what is best to buy and in what quantity.

Can I address a package directly to the Top Box, even if I am not able to pick it up from the courier myself?
Yes. During office hours, we provide the service of collecting correspondence and parcels of our clients. The parcels we collect are properly secured and wait for you to collect them yourself. Contact us and ask for the details of this service.

Are the boxes equipped with shelves?
No. Because not everyone wants it. However, if you don’t have your own shelves, don’t worry. In our store you can buy or rent professional shelves with high load capacity for the duration of the contract, on which you can store your property in an ergonomic way. Of course, we will advise you on how many shelves will be useful for you, and we will even help you arrange them logically.

Do you clean the boxes?
At Top Box, we attach great importance to the issue of cleanliness. That is why we clean all common spaces on an ongoing basis. We also make sure that your box is clean and empty when we hand it over to you. During the term of the contract, however, you must keep it clean yourself, at your own discretion. We cannot enter the rented box, because you are the only person who is granted access to it. Remember that the contract obliges you to take all your belongings out of the box after its expiry and leave it in the condition in which you got it.

Are there toilets?
Yes, in our building you will find toilets, which are also accessible 24 hours a day.

Is there a WIFI network available?
Yes, you can use our WIFI network – login details can be obtained at the reception.

Are the boxes equipped with electrical sockets?
There are no sockets in the boxes (they can be installed at boxes, ask our empoyees for details), but you can use electricity by connecting to the sockets located in the corridors (no further than 5 m from your box).
